Innerworks has been serving our community for over 25 years. We are proud to have the honor of being the first Kundalini Yoga and the first Pilates studio in our surrounding area! We continuously strive to stay true to both of these practices. We have a diverse team of instructors that are dedicated to sharing their passion and knowledge of the many healing modalities we offer. All of our instructors are certified through nationally recognized programs. We are happy and honored to provide our clients with a supportive, motivating, and inspiring studio to focus on their physical, mental & emotional well-being. Alicia Maxwell Womack – Owner/Pilates Instructor
Alicia has been a part of Innerworks for over 15 years; starting as a student in 1999, becoming the studio’s bookkeeper, then Manager and finally an owner in 2013. She received her Pilates certification through Body Arts & Science International (BASI) with Rael Isacowitz in 2005. She started down the Pilates path as a student at Innerworks for over 5 years before deciding that she loved and believed in the benefits of Pilates so much she wanted to become a teacher. As a student, she started to notice that she was “correcting” other students during Mat classes and realized she had the “teaching bug”! She believes that Pilates is a lifelong practice that can benefit anyone! Alicia teaches private and group equipment sessions.
Patty Wildasinn/Patwant Kaur - Owner/Kundalini Yoga Instructor
Patty Wildasinn has resided in the Upland area for over 20 years and has been teaching Kundalini Yoga at Innerworks since 2004. As of May 2013, she has been the co-owner and operator. Although she enjoys teaching a vigorous set to willing students, she has a fondness for modifying postures and making yoga possible and fun for everyone, regardless of ability or limitations. She has been teaching a special needs family yoga class for several years, focusing on special needs kids and their families. Patty is also a certified addiction counselor. She helps to support and encourage your life journey in the present moment.
Gurucharan Singh Khalsa Ph.D. – Kundalini Yoga Teacher
Gurucharan's background is deeply rooted in both Western and Eastern Traditions. A psychologist in private practice in Claremont, CA, and a previous owner of Innerworks, his interest is in the deep patterns of mind and emotion, and how they influence the quality of life. A student of Yogi Bhajan and certified teacher of Kundalini yoga and meditation since 1972, he follows the flow of Spirit, basic to Human Life. As Clinical Director and Program Developer in a variety of therapeutic settings, he is committed to the development of quality, holistic health care providers. Carolyn Maxwell-Khalsa – Reiki Practitioner
As a Registered Nurse, trained Massage Therapist, Certified Reiki Practitioner and Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Carolyn is dedicated to health and wellness with a focus on preventative care. She is a previous owner of Innerworks. Her private practice affords her to provide wellness education and relief to those with discomfort. She has been a part of the design, training and implementation of massage for research programs with Casa Colina Rehabilitative Hospital and USC Social Services Department. It is her opinion that our stressful lives distract us from our mind body awareness, manifesting a disconnection and adaptation. She is an advocate of healthy touch, breathing, movement and human connection as a way to balance one's life. Massage and Reiki therapy not only feels good but also provides many of these essential human needs in a therapeutic environment. Carolyn's personal path in health and wellness has been strongly focused in nutrition, massage and Reiki therapy, Pilates fitness, Kundalini Yoga and meditation. She has a strong desire to share her innate gifts with others and to be part of a community that supports health, happiness, peace and prosperity, especially with other healthcare providers.
Lauren Jones – Pilates Instructor/Certified Massage Therapist
Lauren received her Pilates certification through Core Dynamics, Santa Fe New Mexico, in 2005. It is her belief that everyone is capable of great success both physically and mentally and, through Pilates, one can achieve this success with positive encouragement and support. Lauren is a certified, licensed massage therapist. She completed her 500 hour program from School of Holistic Touch in Ontario, California. Her training consists of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Thai Massage, Sports Therapy, Aromatherapy, Headache Therapies and Oncology. Lauren teaches private and group equipment sessions, as well as Pilates mat classes.
Angelic Rubalcava – Reiki Master & Practitioner
Angelic has been an Energetic Healer for many years. She received her training and attunements for Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki 1 and 2 from Reiki Master Kenny Owenson in Edinburgh, Scotland and her Reiki Master certification from Master Kei Okubo here in California. She is a dedicated intuitive healer and has offered her services to hospitals, cancer research centers, and Community Healing Groups, as well as provided private one-on-one sessions. She offers treatments to people of all ages and varying conditions, in addition to pets/animals and plant life. She is committed to sharing and teaching to others the loving, healing and enlightening journey of intuitive energy healing, so that we may not only learn to heal others, but in doing so, ourselves, and through us, the world around us.
Nelann Gorman/Nirbhe Kaur
Nirbhe has been practicing Kundalini yoga since 2000, is a Level One certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, and has been teaching yoga at Innerworks for over a decade. Nirbhe offers a traditional Kundalini Yoga and Meditation class, where she is dedicated to her students with a desire to help them grow and connect to their inner selves. She has also taught children, families, and our very popular deep relaxation workshops. Having gone through stressful times, she knows that anyone can achieve a calmer lifestyle.
Victoria Rose/Jap Dharam Kaur
Jap Dharam Kaur is a KRI certified Level Two teacher and has been practicing for 12 years, teaching for 7. Having been a teacher of one thing or another for most of her life, it was during Level One teacher training that she knew teaching Kundalini Yoga was what she was meant to do. It is her great pleasure and passion to have taught people of all ages, conditions and walks of life. Jap Dharam continues her study of Kundalini Yoga with annual trips to India and a deep personal practice.
Riki Medak/Jaijiwan Kaur
Riki has been practicing yoga since 2008, and is a Level One KRI certified yoga teacher. She is an RN by training, and has worked in Acute and Long Term Health Care in Southern California since the 90’s. She has found Kundalini Yoga to be an integral part of her life and her spiritual journey. Riki is delighted to be sharing the sacred teachings of Kundalini Yoga.
Nikki began teaching yoga 6 years ago, when her teacher retired. It was a natural transition, and Nikki specializes in bringing a gentle approach to hatha yoga, with emphasis on proper alignment. She is a certified 500 Yoga Teacher, and also has certifications in Pre/Post Natal Yoga and Yin Yoga, and is most recently a graduate of Kundalini Yoga Level One Teacher Training. You are sure to enjoy her singing bowls, played during deep relaxation. Nikki is also a Reiki Master and an Artist. Her art focuses primarily on ceramics and painting.
Maria Saltikoff/Harpreet Kaur
Harpreet is a beloved Innerworks student, and graduate of KRI Level One teacher training. She also has extensive training in the gong and its multifaceted healing abilities. She is the Director of Operations at a large specialty veterinary hospital, where she employs care and compassion in her work. You’re sure to find these qualities in her yoga classes as well.
