A unique approach to mind and body fitness. Developed by the late Joseph Pilates and for many years the techniques were a well kept secret of the dance and excercise world. Dancers know that with these techniques you could build a lean body without the strain of long repetitive workouts. Today the techniques are used by thousands for fitness and rehabilitation of injuries. It is suitable for anyone looking for an effective, safe, non- impact workout.

What makes our program unique is that we work from the center, the inner core of your being to bring about change. The exercises are performed with precision and in conjunction with breath control. There are no endless repetitions of the movements done to the point of fatigue. Each session includes dynamic floor work, breathing techniques and stretching and strengthening exercises performed on unique hand-crafted equipment, utilizing a system of resistance controlled by spring tension to gently tone the muscles of the body.

The results are dramatic. You will firm the abdominal muscles and strengthen the lower back. Muscle tone and flexibility all over the body will increase remarkably and postural alignment will improve. The excercises and breathing techniques will also help to eliminate toxins from the body and release deep seated stress helping you to achieve greater mental clarity and inner calm. As your body begins to function as a whole again you will experience increased energy and greater sense of overall wellness.

All sessions are 55 min. and are to be prepaid in full on or before time of appointment. All 5 Session must be used within 6 weeks, 8 Session Series must be used within 10 weeks, 10 sessions must be used in 12 weeks, and 15 sessions must be used in 20 weeks. Pilates Mat Work In the Pilates Mat Work classes you will learn to initiate movement from your center. Structured to increase back support, balance and stamina, this low impact exercise will strengthen, lengthen and tone your entire body. This workout increases energy while reducing the effects of everyday mind-body stress.

Pilates Cardio Workout Come alive in your body in the Pilates Cardio Workout class, where you will increase your heart rate with full body movements adapted from the Pilates Mat Work. This class is structured to strengthen your muscles and heart as well as increase your flexibility. The class emphasizes proper spine alignment and balance while burning calories.
