the Yoga of Physical Discipline

This is an "all levels" Hatha Yoga practice focusing on asanas (poses), pranayama (breath) and drishti (focus). Through cultivation of a yoga practice it becomes possible to safely approach and eventually expand the limitations of one's balance, strength, endurance and flexibility. This class uses a flowing sequence of poses linked together by a steady focus connecting breath and movement. Attention is directed to developing core strength and proper alignment while cultivating and sustaining an inner calm throughout a challenging practice. An encouraging and supportive environment is provided for student's overall well-being. This is a great class for people who want to learn the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga but also like to be inspired to expand and grow in their practice physically and mentally.
